Ogulin – Fairy Tale Route

fairy tale route

The narrative fairy tale route of Ogulin consists of a tour of the sites and attractions which inspired the writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić to write her famous ‘Stories of Long Ago’.

This route combines her literary creativity and the main attractions of Ogulin such as Đula’s Abyss, the Dobro River, Klek mountain, the very centre of the town and the Frankopan castle.

The narrative Fairy Tale Route in Ogulin has been visited by thousands, both young and old, and as a souvenir they have taken away the stories and fairy tales from this region with them.

The route lasts an hour, depending on the speed of the group, and with prior arrangement a costumed guidance is also possible.
